Today is MLK day. I am 100% convinced that Dr. King would have loved two things about BJJ. First in BJJ everyone trains together regardless of age/race/sex. Second BJJ allows a skilled smaller person to defend themselves against a larger more powerful one. Everyone is equal once they walk into Alliance.
Most people (other then Jiu-Jitsu gym staff) had the day off, as a result we had a large lunch class. Today we started with a stretching warm-up, I counted 7 blackbelts so it should be some great training:
Today was also Professor Cobrinha's first day back from Canada, we missed him. Furthermore, I am sure he missed us, as we all know that he is not designed for arctic weather.
