Kid Peligro Jiu-Jitsu News - Alliance Headquarters is booming
Alliance Headquarters is booming
The new Alliance headquarters is booming. Alliance leader Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti has been on a mission since the opening of his new and massive Alliance HQ with classes for the military in addition to all their normal activities such as beginners, kids and advanced classes. As usual "Jacare" always looks to ave the best around him as he has World champion Lucas Lepri is the main assistant there.
This upcoming week Alliance conducts their intermediate module for instructors, Romero always wants to make sure everyone in the Alliance system is on the same page and that the teaching is consistent no matter where you train.
"Jacare" states: "The new school is booming with a total area of 1. acres and 9000 square feet of building! We have a 5000 square feet main matted area and 1500 square feet of office space along with 2 spaces for private classes. We still have some construction going on as we are always improving and adding kick-boxing, MMA, cardio kick-boxing and functional training. Lucas (Lepri) has been doing an excellent job here helping me out with the HQ. I can tell you that he is one of the best athletes and instructors of our entire team!"
Now go train Jiu-Jitsu

In surfing Kelly Slater is the undisputed best ever Champion with 11 titles, in BJJ Alliance team is looking to make a similar statement. The Pan is not even cold yet and Alliance team is already preparing for the Worlds. Alliance leader Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti is already rallying his troops to be ready for another team Gold. Even as he takes care of his new academy Romero is on the move:
"We are running at full speed, the new academy is growing with lots of new students and we have a full schedule with 4 to 5 classes a day and new programs such as "fundamentals and intermediate". Everything is going great here, however we haven't lost sight of another goal, the Worlds.
I am very happy with our performance at the Pan and the quality of our team. We won the adult male and female and came in second on master/senior and juvenile. We had 250 athletes competing in that event and now we are going full bore towards the Worlds. Our team is already training hard to achieve that goal. "
There you have it, Alliance Eagle doesn't sleep. The big question is who will be able to stop or even slow down the juggernaut

Pan Champs 3 Years In A Row!
After our training camp in Atlanta, Jacare flew out early to California for the Black Belt bracket drawings. While there, he was able to drop in and teach a class at Cobrinha's academy. With over 50 students in attendance, this has become our team's launching pad for the major tournaments on the west coast.
The event itself was no easy task, as defending champions we had everyone gunning for us. Our coaches worked diligently all weekend giving our fighters guidance. With Jacare, Fabio, Marcelo and many others floating around we were in good hands! From the opening day we were able to get a step ahead of the competition and our higher belts weren't going to let that slip away.
